Personality
‘Violent Psychopath’ is the simplest term that could describe Viperfang. He has no love for any of the other clans and views them all as ‘the enemy’ and won’t hesitate to get aggressive if he knows you’re from another clan- or to be more precise, not from FireClan. He’s got an overwhelming bias for which clan he thinks is the best and anyone who says otherwise deserves his claws. During battle he becomes dangerously blinded by bloodlust and has been known to blindly lash out at his own clanmates if they happen get in his way. He's not often allowed on border patrol duties anymore because he wouldn't stop picking fights with any patrols from the other clans they came across.

To his own clanmates he’s rude and distant; not much one to strike up conversation as it usually ends in him grumbling about how much he would rather be fighting or hunting or anything to do with shedding blood. He is loyal to a fault though, and would never even dream of doing anything to betray his clan. He holds a deep, usually unspoken, respect for Kindlestar and considers it an immense honor to be able to call himself part of her clan.

Brief History
FireClan born, FireClan raised, his mother’s attitude was as fierce as his own and she passed it down into her two kits. Viperfang’s apprenticeship was a simple one at first- always competing with his elder sister Petalpaw in almost everything they did. Eventually Petalpaw began harboring resentment towards her lazy mentor and when she demanded that the clan leader give her a new one she was denied. After that she fled FireClan in the dead of night and for a whole moon Viperfang heard no news of his sister.

At the next gathering he learned from a MoonClan cat that she had tried to join their clan, but had been turned away weeks ago. Ever since he learned of her betrayal of FireClan he’s come to despise her. It was only after receiving his warrior name that he met her again at last, learning she had changed her name to Petal and was living it up as a rogue on the outskirts of FireClan’s territory. She tried to talk him into joining her and leaving FireClan behind but he wouldn’t hear of it, and demanded that she leave or he’d attack her. From time to time she still slinks inside the clan borders to irritate him and dangle her offer of leaving FireClan in front of his face- it’s these visits he despises and does his level best to avoid, because they both know that his threats to attack her are nothing but empty words.
